Hi.

I’m Meredith.

I’m a writer with a psych degree married to a physics teacher who likes philosophy. We converted to Catholicism in 2016 and we have five kids. Still Today is the Substack I’ve been writing for the past three years. I also wrote this children’s devotional about Saints, and my part-time day job is writing and editing Christian nonfiction (curriculum, devotionals, self-help, personal growth, etcetera).

I started publishing these free, short posts (never more than 1000 words!) for writing practice but also because I wanted to encourage people. As it turns out, the person who gets the most encouragement from the exercise is me. Which is kind of the way it goes, isn’t it?

I publish on Saturday mornings. You can always find these pieces here. Whatever you do, live in the truth that you are not alone.

Never, ever, ever ever.

I don't know where my gratitude journal is. I can't throw away ultrasound pictures. The writing thing is a sanity measure that seems to be working.
